The 20 Best Hypoallergenic Shampoos for Jack Russells with Itchy/Sensitive Skin
Burt’s Bees oatmeal is what I use. I have two with super sensitive skin and allergies. I’ve used many brands over the years and have actually made homemade oatmeal shampoo (I don’t recommend it, it was a huge mess)

Our vet prescribed this shampoo, our dog has been biting his paws and won’t let us put anything on him, we have to bath him twice a week leaving it on his fur for 10 minutes, it seems to be working but it’s early days. We tried fish oils but they made no difference.

A small drop of hibiscrub in 4 liters of lukewarm water, wash the affected area and rinse thoroughly with clean lukewarm water. This is the only thing that works for my poppy’s paws, he has a grass allergy and will lick all the fur off his paws if I don’t wash them. them daily, hope this helps you

Jax and Daisy were a great help to my Jack who had severe allergies. Bathing every day for three days and then every three days or when symptoms arise. He helped create a barrier against allergens.

The itchiness and sensitive skin are not really a product related issue, they are mostly food related allergies.
You should ask your vet for a full allergen test so you don’t do more harm than good with unnecessary products.
All the best

In fact, I shop at Aveeno Oat Soak. I have had two Jack Russells in my life and they both have itch syndrome several times a year. I just let her soak in the sink and she seems to enjoy it and rinse her off the best I can. you’re going to get all sorts of answers. another thing i use for my jack russell to help with these continual bouts of itching is i actually buy coconut oil and rub it deep into his skin then comb it out and then like to massage into the skin. Coconut oil may seem like it’s going to be greasy if rubbed against furniture, but I’ve never had a problem and it’s also good to use on my own hair when I have dry periods. Good luck with your baby!
