Something with oats. Also dogs can take antihistamines. I used to give my dog benadryl for this..

To be honest, I rarely wash my staff. The rare time I look at it, which is a once in a blue moon since they don’t have to worry about hair, the rare time I wash it, I used oatmeal and goat milk shampoos. Her coat looks fantastic. I am lucky that we live near the beach and the salt water is her bath.

I can’t give advice for a dog who likes mud, water, snow, rain, light shower, puddles, or anything else remotely H2O based, but for a hydrophobic Nancy kid who didn’t need much cleaning I never bathed him once. more than 10 years! The vet how sensitive the staff’s skin is and to avoid shampooing etc. He used to use hypoallergenic baby wipes for any messes, drool, and general ick.

Change your diet. Our dog had terribly itchy skin, but once we found the chicken allergy, we didn’t have a problem. Remove the beans and test which proteins they may also be sensitive to.

Maleseb is the only thing that worked for my dog. We established that he had hay fever so from April to September he would be very itchy, 2 antihistamines a day and a shower every 10 days or so. Leave the shampoo on mostly lather for about 10 minutes after rinsing. worked a pleasure

Our staff are allergic to any and all chicken proteins, including eggs. Very common. Our vet does not recommend getting rid of all the pimples. Find one that your dog can tolerate. There are other negative long-term effects of eliminating all pimples. Most dogs can tolerate a little bit of vitamin E, olive oil, or coconut oil for dry skin, but watch out for loose stools (I give less than a teaspoon a day).
We use Burt’s Bees shampoo, but we don’t bathe often either, maybe twice a year.

Polytar is for psoriasis and eczema for humans but it works brilliantly on people who had one not too long ago and had a skin problem that cleared up endlessly don’t go to the vet it will cost a fortune it costs about 7 pounds on amazon in a gold bottle believe me you will not regret it you just need to do it twice a week so you don’t strip all the oil from your skin.

I just use a mild conditioner with lukewarm water and then rub in baby oil with aloe. While she’s still in the shower, Will stripped down a bit afterward. Common. But no problems after that. Yes, and I don’t wash it much either. She also added fish oil to her food in the morning.
