Yasmin was raising several dogs when she met Milo at the shelter and added him to her breeding pack. The pup was alone in an apartment for over a month before he was found. According to Yasmin, someone would come into the apartment once a week and “fill a plate of food for her”. That was her only food.
Before reaching Yasmin, Milo sat in a shelter, afraid of people and behaving strangely. He couldn’t concentrate on anything, and they believed that he had learned to entertain himself because he had been left alone for too long. Milo would walk up to Yasmin when she called out to him and look directly at her. He then he ran away, distracted by something else.
Milo actually went around in circles. He was called in to see a neurologist to rule out a medical condition. But Milo was physically healthy, he just had to heal on the inside. And Yasmin’s mission was to get it running again!
The puppy’s story is far from over and what follows is amazing! We are so relieved that they found Milo. As for his owners, let’s just say he’s better off without them!
