Lee and Asher House learned that a skinny pit bull was wasting away at an animal shelter. She knew that she could help her and she reached out. The pup was just skin and bones! Lee took her out of the shelter and brought her to the Asher House sanctuary.
The dog, now named Daisy, was initially too overwhelmed and nervous to meet the entire pack. So Lee decided it was best to introduce her slowly. Lee hugged Daisy tight after she got out of her car and said, “That’s my baby!” And our hearts melted! He is an amazing guy.
The rescuer was surprised when Daisy immediately followed without a leash! She was already devoted to him. What a good girl! Daisy quickly got used to her new home and joined the other resident dogs once she was ready. The pup also gained weight rapidly!
Daisy, now twice as big, became the happiest pup ever! If she had stayed at the shelter, who knows what would have happened to the poor girl! Lee is amazing! We are so thankful for her big heart. To meet Daisy and see her transformation, check out the video below.
