“Chemdog has kept their authentic genetics close for decades, but fans have opened their hearts and vaults.”
I’ve been reporting on music and culture long enough to know that most lists are basically hogwash, little more than arbitrary compendiums made by journalists who wish they were doing more important work.
In even worse scenarios, the writers and editors behind dramatic titles the best everType posts take themselves seriously. Which is usually embarrassing, but seems to be fine in the case of this recent article by David Downs in Leafly, “The best cannabis seeds and clones in the world to grow in 2023.”
Perhaps we are biased, as Downs included two sources of mass (I’ll get to that in a second). Just as important, his journey to so many superlative sayings: “highlight[ing] Renowned Breeders with High Yield Beans”: Checks and More. While typing…
“We spent two days reporting on the world’s biggest seed scene – the Emerald Cup Harvest Ball in December. We then consulted over 30 esteemed breeders, growers and experts for picks. And yes, we smoke hundreds of varieties in 2022 in search of perfection, power and dynamism.
For “Chemdog, OG Kushes, Sour Diesels, and Glues,” which Leafly wrote excel in “bite and power,” they naturally greeted “Chemdog himself, producer/breeder from Massachusetts.” Specifically, they yelled “winter 2023 releases include[ing] authentic Chem 4, Lemon OG Haze and Biscotti Mintz”. Adding, “the next big release of clones and some rare Chem genetics from Chemdog will be in April/spring for the planting season. [via] the Chemdog brand greatest hits through canna provisions stories. Chemdog has kept their authentic genetics close for decades, but fans have opened their hearts and vaults.”
“I love knowing now that if someone has a clone of Smash Hits and Canna Provisions, they have the best available on the market anywhere,” Chemdog told Leafly.
Meanwhile, Leafly also supported another Mass-based Chem family breeder, massive medical seedsfor his Vx1000.
“Vx1000 is an absolute must for lovers of old school, potent Chemdog and classic green weed like Sours and OG,” Mass Medical explained. “This one brings the best of the best, with a spiritually intense weed that will make you feel nostalgic for the 90s all over again.”
He was also honored Cookie Seed Bankspecifically your Hollywood (Lemon Cherry Gelato x Runtz), White Sherb (White Runtz x Sherb) and Tie Die (Jealousy x Sherb). Locally, you can find Cookie strains at his namesake store in Worcester and at other selected delivery points while supplies last.
